Hop Wilson
President
Hop is from Newark, Ohio and went to Miami University. He graduated in 1977 with a degree in Finance. Throughout Hop’s career he has kept his priorities of faith and family in the forefront of his life. He is married to his college sweetheart, Paulette, and together they have four children and eleven grandchildren.
Matt Wilson
Vice President
Matt grew up in Cincinnati and went to St. Xavier High School. He graduated from Ohio State in 2015 from the Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. At Ohio State, Matt was a member of the Sigma Chi National Fraternity. In his free time, Matt loves to golf, play pickleball and beat everyone in ping pong.
Joan Sweeney
Sr. Account Manager
Joan is from the east side of Cincinnati and graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, concentration in Management. Joan is married to her husband Brian and they have a daughter, Bree. Fun fact: Joan has a hidden talent of riding unicycles.

Tony Bort
Benefit Specialist
Tony is a Cincinnati native who grew up in the Mason area. He went to Ohio State for 2 years before graduating from Franciscan University in 2016. Tony is an avid fan of the Bengals, FC Cincinnati & Italian food. Fun fact: Tony has 5 siblings, 16 nieces and nephews, and is cousins with the Wilson family.
Joey Schulte
Account Manager
Joey is originally from Wilmington, Ohio but now resides in Milford with his wife and two kids. Outside of work, Joey has a passion for the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State football. Fun fact: Joey played baseball in college at Ava Maria and Georgetown College.
Our History
Hop started Wilson Insurance by knocking on doors and cold calling resident doctors around Cincinnati. Those young physicians became his first clients. Now, Wilson Insurance provides insurance to thousands of individuals and hundreds of businesses throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and beyond. Our reputation for providing comprehensive consultations and service is well established across the Tristate.
